joe cirotti trio

Joe Cirotti Trio, a well-oiled string band from the shadows of Northwest Jersey’s Appalachian ridge, fuses their multi-instrumentalist upbringings with a passion for the roots of American folk, jazz, country, and bluegrass. Their bond is rooted in proximity, strengthened by a blue-collar passion for picking, and buoyed by their shared propensity for roots music and whiskey.

Formed in 2015, the current line-up of Joe Cirotti: guitar, Pete Lister: upright bass, and Timmy Coyle: mandolin and guitar, continues to craft a sound steeped in tradition yet infused with modern twists.

The group also occasionally plays as a 4/5-piece ensemble, adding banjo, fiddle, dobro, percussion, or even more mandolin, often joined by founding member Mike Alexander.

Joe Cirotti Trio has become a fixture at premier area venues across the NWNJ area, and is booking into the summer and fall across a wider area. Their debut release, “Joe Cirotti Trio”, launched on CD and Vinyl in December 2023, and streaming on all major platforms.

They find common musical ground in influences like Doc Watson, Tony Rice, and Garcia/Grisman, but also as diverse as Django Reinhardt, Pink Floyd, and Van Halen. This stirs up a one-of-a-kind blend of Americana, bluegrass, alt-country, and gypsy jazz, and acoustic pop.

Radiohead - ok computer tribute

An Unforgettable Tribute to OK Computer $10/cover at the door

Prepare for an electrifying night of music as a powerhouse lineup of musicians comes together to perform

OK Computer in its entirety—a tribute to one of the most groundbreaking albums of all time.

At the heart of this performance is Joe Cirotti, whose unmatched guitar prowess will channel the raw emotion, intricate melodies, and sonic experimentation that made OK Computer a generation-defining masterpiece. From the soaring leads of Paranoid Android to the haunting textures of Exit Music (For a Film), Cirotti’s technical precision and soul-stirring delivery promise to take audiences on an unforgettable journey.

Leading the charge on vocals is Bryan Hansen, whose thundering voice will bring new depth and intensity to Thom Yorke’s iconic lyrics. Hansen’s dynamic range and emotive power will capture the alienation, hope, and fury embedded in every song, delivering a performance that’s both faithful to the original and uniquely his own. It is also Bryans birthday so come out and buy him a beer!

Holding down the low end with groove and grit is Wayne Lyle, whose big, funky bass lines will inject fresh energy into Airbag, Subterranean Homesick Alien, and beyond. Lyle’s ability to seamlessly shift between hypnotic rhythms and explosive moments will keep the crowd locked in from start to finish.

And driving it all forward with an unwavering pulse is Joshua Van Ness on drums. With a tight, expressive rhythm section, Van Ness will masterfully navigate the album’s shifting time signatures, atmospheric builds, and explosive climaxes, bringing an electrifying sense of urgency to every beat.

Together, this extraordinary ensemble will recreate the magic of OK Computer with precision, passion, and a fresh perspective. Whether you’re a lifelong Radiohead fan or experiencing this album in full for the first time, this is a performance you won’t want to miss. Be prepared for special guests as well!

Charlie Don't Surf

Charlie Don’t Surf was created by Jeff and Pete, long time partners in Mobius Strip.  Wanting to create funky, earthy jam music they searched for a drummer and the right one found them.  Or more appropriately, they found each other.

Andrew, delivering a keg to their studio, admired the vintage “half stacks” and conversation led to a jam, the musical connection immediate.  Looking for the right bass player to bring it home found Christian, a jazzy, funky player, the unit complete.

Charlie Don’t Surf covers funky songs and if a choice is not funky the band funks it up. Charlie “does the song” but “does it our way.” Jamming, flipping the beat around, “pushing the one” is what the band is about.

All write songs but Charlie Don’t Surf is an “original cover band” that covers the song but makes it their own, creatively satisfying for them and their audience.

Soulstice Afterparty Larry Keel & John Stickley Duo

The afterparty of the year featuring Larry Keel & Jon Stickly Duo!

The Larry Keel & Jon Stickley Duo features two of the finest flatpicking guitarists of this generation. Both share a lifelong love of acoustic bluegrass guitar music made famous by influential duets Doc and Merle Watson, and Tony
Rice and Norman Blake. Keel, Stickley, and other modern flatpickers like Billy Strings grew up studying these legends. These masters were the role models who provided the inspiration to both Larry and Jon to pursue careers as professional guitar players. Each has gone on to pioneer his own distinct interpretation of the bluegrass artform, as well as fusing genres from roots, jazz, prog, and beyond. Now, Keel and Stickley have themselves become new masters of acoustic guitar. With this act, the two celebrate the pure joy of playing acoustic guitar music as a duo, effortlessly complementing each other’s rhythm and lead playing while never losing their own individual personality. Their sophisticated and awe-inspiring performances suit an array of venues including festival stages, listening rooms, private functions, and nightclubs. At the core of the Keel Stickley Duo is an intimate conversation between two guitars and voices, done with superior skill and taste, with more than a hint of explosive late-night jam vibe.

Jimmy Leahey & GMG

Jimmy Leahy started playing  guitar at age 7, learning from his dad, Harry… a well-known jazz player and a prolific teacher in New Jersey. Jimmy’s toured and recorded with John Waite, Patty Smyth, Martha Davis, Gloria Gaynor, Alison Krauss and is currently playing with Dennis DeYoung, from Styx

One of the most optimistic and genuine guys you’ll meet, Jimmy talks about the incredible positive influence his dad had on him, and also the pressure he often felt being “Harry’s son”… a great story about the best gig he had, playing as part of the house band for Bon Jovi’s birthday party – playing alongside Roger Waters, Billy Joel, and Paul McCartney.
