A very special edition of Open Mic featuring The Broken Hearts, a nationally touring Tom Petty Tribute Band! First hour will be our traditional open mic (link to list will be available day of) followed by an electrifying Tom Petty Tribute Show. $10/cover gets you all the action as the band makes a mid-week stop at the Patt in between Brooklyn and Ct shows, this is their only NJ appearence on this tour. Small intimate venue, big sound this show is not one to be missed.

“THE BROKEN HEARTS " are a nationally touring Tom Petty tribute band hailing from Gainesville, Florida and were created in 2017 by former Tom Petty and Mudcrutch bandmate, bassist Charlie Souza. Charlie has also worked with other legendary songwriters such as Greg Allman, Vanilla Fudge and The New Rascals. Along with singer/songwriter Shawn Scheller (Save The Radio!) Charlie and Shawn have assembled a core group of pro musicians that most accurately captures the "live" concert experience of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.

The current touring band consists of :

- Shawn Scheller ( Save The Radio / The Contenders ) as Tom Petty on lead vocals and guitar.

- Mateo Olivo ( Infamous Unknowns / The Contenders ) as Mike Campbell on lead guitar

 - Dave Walker ( The Hazies ) as Howie Epstein on bass guitar,

 - Aidan Cain ( The Contenders ) as Benmont Tench on Piano, Organ and keyboards

 - Chris McDonald ( The Henley's) as Stan Lynch on drums

 - Scott Lockhart ( The Contenders ) as Scott Thurston on percussion and electric guitar
